Openoffice3.1.1 ?

I use 0.8 Beta 1.
I cannot use Openoffice.
It starts and tehen stops.

Message is this after ./soffice:I18N: "Operating system doesn't support locale "en_US" X IO Error"

My language select is finnish.
How can I solve this problem?
